RVC Position Description
Promote ASHRAE!!!
Society/Regional Meetings
1. Regional Vice Chairs are expected to attend all Committee meetings.
2. Regional Vice Chairs are expected to attend the Chapter's Regional Conference (CRC) (SRC) for his/her Region.
3. Regional Vice Chairs are expected to attend all subcommittee meetings to which they are assigned, including teleconference meetings.
4. Visits to local chapter meetings.
5. Regional Vice Chairs are expected to attend the committee orientation session.
Reports
1. Regional Vice Chairs shall present a written report to the Membership Promotion Committee Chair at each Society Annual and Winter Meeting.
2. Regional Vice Chair shall be responsible to his/her DRC for Membership Promotion activities related to his/her Region, and to the Society Membership Promotion Committee Chair for all other Membership Promotion activities.

Society Goal of 3% growth (124 total members)
Region VI
- Start of 2024-25; 4,156 members
- End of Q3; 4,186 members
- Goal; 4,280 members
- Cedar Valley and Iowa are currently achieving 3% growth
- (3) Chapters have declined in membership
Awards and Recognition
Blue Ribbon Award - Chapter with highest PAOE points (above Par)
Red Ribbon Award - Chapter with 2nd highest PAOE points (above Par)
Honorable Mention - Chapters that achieve Par in PAOE points
Limelight Award - Highest membership growth for the year
Boomerang Award - Highest non-student retention rated for the year

Remember to acknowledge your Members (years of service, accomplishments, employers etc.)
Host MP events, at least once, through the course of the year.
Utilize your resources; your MP RVC is here to help.
Remember to submit your MP goals for the year within the first couple of months of new Society year.
Follow up with delinquent members (0-90 & 90+ days)

This is for the MP Chair or Co-Chair that will be serving in their role from July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Cost - no fee to register for Centralized Training, ASHRAE covers your flight or mileage, whichever is more affordable based on the ASHRAE Transportation Policy.
PAOE Priorities
Remember to log your points as you earn them.
Keep your MP RVC in the "loop" on any and all Chapter MP events.
Deadlines
PAOE points need to be entered by end of Society year, June 30, 2025.
